Merry Christmas!

From my home to yours, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy Chanukah!

My sentries...

In lieu of snow, white roses...

Tree trimmed, Living room in its winter cool colors...

presents wrapped...

Table ready...

My job is done, I will now enjoy a few moments of rest and Christmas bliss while waiting for our friends to share Christmas with us.

On Luke's menu (husband, father, chef): Foie Gras with grape reduced coulis, Canard (duck) a l'orange with his signature persian rice, greens and other varied vegetables and of course, Buche de Noel
on the wine list, a wonderful Chateau Yquem 1983, Pomerol, Roederor Cristal champagne and our very own "eau de source" or well water.

Joyeux Noel a tous mes amis... Merry Christmas to you my friends...

Francine

  1. Francine, I see you like blue. Your home is just lovely. I send wishes to you for a fabulous Christmas and new year, We get a few flurries today. Cold as heck. I went to a candle light service at the little church by the house. The Pastor asked, where did I live, and what church did I go to, I told him the Catholic St. Bernards. He looked shocked I was there. I said all Houses of God are the same. I knew all their songs too.
    Love to you and family

  5. Hoping that you and yours had a very Merry Christmas, Francine. We had a very quiet day in the country with our friends, it was just what the doctor ordered. Your home, gifts and table all look so beautiful and welcoming. And a 1983 Yquem? Yes please. :)
