Coming up for Air....

Wow.... I'm stunned how long its been since I last posted news here. I really feel like I've been in a time warp since I returned from Iceland.

Based on some of my recent posts here, some readers might understandably assume that my life is made up of endless vacations filled with fun travel, relaxation and easy pleasure taken in the beauty of nature. To be sure, I am often tempted to follow such an existence, but, like everyone else I know, the reality is rather different.

Over the last several weeks I have been completely absorbed in work. Fortunately, I love what I do, so often, it doesn't seem like work at all, even with all the deadlines and snafu's that inevitably pop up. Such is life.

What follows below are teaser shots of my most recent - and nearly finished - residential project. A year of labor, stress, long hours, anxiety and challenge. But, my clients still love us (I hope!?!) and it has been a genuine thrill to see the smiles on their faces as they walk through their beautiful new beach house.

After the next visit or two, all will be done, and I'll unveil the whole of it as soon as I can here.

Living Room... still in progress

Paella please...

I dream of such a bedroom for myself...

A Tub with a View

A special room for the nectar of life.

And now back to the insane rush to pull together our MetHome/Showtime Showhouse project. Sometimes, I think I'm Tara myself.

  4. Francine, working with you is not just a pleasure, it is a treat. We are very
lucky. And incredibly grateful for the passion and love you put into our house. It really is a work of art - and all the stress that comes with construction was more than worth it in the end (at least for us!). Everyone coming into the house is speechless - and so are we sometimes! We are still getting used to the idea that we live here.
